The Report Is Seeing Spots! A Debut Tie For A Change!
Debut Tie. Brian Williams, in an unheralded departure from his usual silk striped ties, knots up a tie with a polka dot motif this evening. Dark blue is scattered with bold, yet somehow elegant golden circles, like coins tossed upon a damask covered salver. This cravat is both happy and haughty, cool as well as cocky. A statement tie, to be certain.

I really liked this debut tie. Of course, you know I have a fondness for blue ties on BW, and also a weakness for these "polka dot" patterns. ;-)

Shirley--I looked very, very hard at this tie,even the next day online. I really do think that they were simply dots, not medallions or some other pattern. But it's very hard to tell.
